Launch Global Engagement module (Spring 2022)

Together with our colleagues from Ghent and in cooperation with all ENLIGHT partner universities, the UG ENLIGHT team is developing a 5 EC Global Engagement Module. It will be piloted in Spring 2022 for 45 students, 5 from each ENLIGHT partner university.

Learn how ENLIGHT develops doctoral education and connects doctoral students from our nine partner universities!

Are you interested in learning more about how to create a prototype? Join our online sprint and meet international experts October 15-17th.

During two full days students will learn how to create an app without any line of code. This challenge-based prototyping sprint, offered by Uppsala University and EIT Health, will allow you to learn new tools that will be useful in your future professional life. Make your ideas come true! To do so you will work remotely in an interdisciplinary team, get insights from prototyping experts and be coached all the way to presentation in front of a jury. Take this opportunity to increase your collaboration skills and get professional feedback on your prototype. All students will receive a certificate of participation.

ENLIGHT connects research with society - the DAAD podcast on European Universities.

The ENLIGHT-Network was invited to present itself in the DAAD podcast “Campus Europa”. Together with a student representative from the Bochum network UNIC and joined by Dr. Katrin Wodzicki Professor Casper-Hehne explained the goals and challenges of ENLIGHT.

About ENLIGHT. A student perspective by Tjitske Schokker at RUG formal opening academic year 2021-2022’

On Monday 6 September the University of Groningen held its official Opening of the Academic Year 2021-2022. The theme of this year's opening was 'Welcome back!' to mark the return to campus of the students and staff after a period dominated by online education due to the global pandemic

As one of the main speakers during the formal opening student representative Tjitske Schokker highlighted the importance of ENLIGHT for 'the new normal of higher education' and for making education more equitable, sustainable and accessible.

Online ENLIGHT Neurepiomics Summer School (11-15 October 2021)

The University of Bordeaux is hosting an online ENLIGHT Neurepiomics Summer School scheduled from October 11th to 15th from 2 to 7 pm CEST!

This summer school on "neuroepidemiology" in the omics era takes place annually since 2015 with experts from Europe, the US, Canada, and Japan, targeting a broad audience ranging from students, to early career and more senior researchers interested in acquiring expertise in this field. Participants usually come from diverse disciplines (epidemiology, clinical, bioinformatics, biostatistics, etc.).

NUI Galway to Partner with Basque Country and Comenius on an exciting EIT Funded Innovation Capacity Building in Higher Education Project.

NUI Galway is to lead a new European project to bring a new entrepreneurial focus to higher education in collaboration with ENLIGHT partner institutions.

i2i (Idea to Impact) will train more than 800 students and 300 staff over two years to look beyond the boundaries of their own disciplines, to think innovatively and enhance the start-up ecosystem in a network of universities and colleges.
